Yesterday I celebrated another year around the sun with my family. I did pretty well gift wise, receiving two vinyls to add to my music collection. ‘Wish You Were Here’ by Pink Floyd and the self titled album by the Australian band – Wolfmother.
If you never heard of the band before, I would describe their sound being influenced by both Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. The following songs are all bangers: ‘Dimension, ‘Joker and the Thief’, and ‘Woman’. It’s also worth noting, Wolfmother will be performing live at Brooklyn Steel on June 23th. They are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut record and plan to play the album in its entirety. If you’re a fan of their music and would be interested in seeing the concert, let me know!
