Detergent, suds and beer are just some of the items you’ll find at Sunshine Laundromat located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, a short distance from the G train. As you walk in, there are locals taking care of their laundry but as you venture further, the back door reveals a secret location, a speakeasy. This hidden gem features a great selection of pinball machines to play: “Jurassic Park,” “The Addams Family,” “Jaws,” and “Star Wars,” just to name a few. The bar offers eight beers on draft plus an assortment of canned alcoholic drinks to choose from. The only downside of this venue is its small size. Once it gets busy, you’ll be packed in. Other than that, it’s a great place to start your night off with friends.
